Raffle details:
All tickets must be purchased in person by payment of cash, check (made payable to Knox Sports Complex), or via Venmo payment, sold by KSC board members (listed on the main webpage) and the KSC Fundraising Committee.
Cash Prizes*:
1 - $1000 2 - $500 4 - $250 8 - $100 For a maximum total in prizes of $3800.
*All prizes are as listed unless proceeds from the tickets sold are less than the minimum required amount (see official raffle rules below), in which case the prizes will be recalculated to ensure that KSC retains half of the proceeds and half will be distributed as prize money.
Only 100 tickets were sold for the 2nd annual KSC fall raffle. Unfortunately, that results in a drastic reduction in prizes to: 1 - $220 2 - $110 4 - $55 and 8 - $25
Sales of the 100 tickets netted $1710: Prizes amounted to $860 with KSC keeping $850
We are still planning to have consolation drawings over the month of October for gift certificates from local businesses from the non-winning tickets. Examples: $25 gift certificates from Miracle Clean and Prime Sports, $15 gift certificate from Peafections.
CASH RAFFLE RULES
(IN Gaming License # 018058, raffle permit/license link above)
1. These official contest rules may not be waived, modified, or supplemented except by Knox Sports Complex Incorporated (KSC). No modification of these official rules shall be enforceable unless made by KSC.
2. All raffle drawings shall be held at St. Francis Xavier Parish Center, 106 S 3rd Street, Vincennes, IN 47591. All tickets must be received by the drawing date and time to be eligible for the drawing. Drawing will be held October 1, 2026, between 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
3. Each ticket will be entered separately in the drawing. Each ticket is a separate and equal chance to win one of the cash raffle prizes. Once a ticket is selected, it is ineligible for other prize amounts/drawings.
4. A minimum of $8100 must be sold for 100% payouts. $3800 in payout prizes and $3800 for KSC, and $500 to cover the cost of the event. If the necessary tickets are not sold to meet the minimum requirement, prize values will be recalculated based on the total amount generated in the sale of the raffle tickets so that 50% will be distributed as prize money and 50% will remain with KSC.
5. Each Winner has one week (7 days) to claim their cash prize or forfeit all claims thereto. The Winners are responsible for providing two forms of identity, one of which must be a photo ID, to verify that this is the person on the winning ticket. Any Winners not present at the time of the drawing will be notified, by the telephone number listed on their ticket, the next business day. The Winners will be posted on the KSC website and Facebook page.
6. In the case of any Winner not claiming their cash prize within one week (7 days) or the purchaser was ineligible, the funds will remain with KSC.
7. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility at the discretion of KSC.
8. The Winners are solely responsible for all taxes due on the cash raffle drawings.
9. The Winners are required to complete all documentation for purposes of the Internal Revenue Service. After the end of the year, KSC will file form W-2G with the IRS to report the value of all the prizes won. The Winners will may receive a copy of the W-2G for their year-end tax return. Each Winner agrees to provide their Social Security Number and other personal information to KSC for tax purposes, if requested.
